TECHNICAL MANAGERS
One role is customer facing and the other focuses on the supply chain but both operate within an environment which is fast moving and constantly challenging, which calls for personal qualities of drive, commitment and objective decision making.
Ideally, you will have a food science/technology/horticultural degree and relevant product experience, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of sourcing and auditing. You’ll need to be flexible to occasionally travel in the UK and abroad and be able to impress with your excellent communication and presentation skills. Furthermore, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels throughout the customer/supply chain, problem solve and initiate action plans as well as have a strong analytical approach to data and detail.
Your prime role will be to provide technical management and expertise to our customers, commercial, procurement and NPD teams to ensure product integrity and compliance throughout the supply chain. In addition, you will proactively develop and maintain effective customer or supplier facing relationships with emphasis on product quality, innovation and know how. This will include providing visible leadership to ensure adherence to standards, accreditation and auditing processes which will require knowledge of HACCP, labelling, food law and including ethical matters.
