These roles require someone who is hard in their approach to sales and getting the best value produce that is fit for purpose, always trying to optimise value without compromising on quality. Being aware of your market, the competition and USP will be the only way to stay ahead of the game so pre-empting and interpreting seasonal changes, driving accounts and solving problems will be expected every day.
THE QUALITIES WE WANT TO SEE...
This is not a standard black and white Account Management or Procurement Manager role. To complement the existing team, our client is looking for individuals who can demonstrate experience of both “buying and selling”. We aren’t necessarily looking for someone with experience of major multiples but someone who has worked with smaller retailers or the wholesale market and has added fantastic commercial value to their past employers. Above all we need someone with the passion to succeed, who stands out from the crowd and strives to be the highest achiever in everything they do.
