I bet there are more happy customers as a result of the cheaper prices then there are angry farmers, it is life, except it!

I believe this is a fantastic show of intent from the Irish growers that all others should take notice of. One man alone is not enough but with solidarity, one man can find strength to bring about the change required.

Tesco will then source from outside Ireland then the growers will have to move the product for less elsewhere, not an easy call, but at the end of the day the public are pushing for lower prices and if suppliers agree with Tesco who is too blame?

The President of Irish Farmer's Union along with the cameramen from the nation TV station's were present. Wake up fresh produce - it's not the actual incident its the coverage it receives on the TV that wakes up a national awareness which in turn makes Tesco question what thet are actually doing. When we are young we generally find that being polite to a bully deosn't usually work.
